The K911 Foundation was started back in 2016. Upon working in the veterinary field we realized that local police departments needed help with initial purchases of the dogs, help funding serious medical issues and assisting in retirement care.

Initially the veterinary community started with fundraising directly for the police departments with family carnivals, a 5k walk and more but after seeing how much support was available, the K911 Foundation was born.

The K911 Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Contributions are tax deductible to the extent permitted by law. The tax ID number is 81-2397593
